USA Ch, Swe (U)Ch, Norw Ch Co-R´s Wingset Woody O´Blu Max, WOODY, came
from USA to Finland in spring 1998 and stayed with Sari Ranta for six
months to avoid quaranteen. Thank you Sari! In the fall 1998 he finally arrived in Sweden. By then he was 5,5 years old. Woody´s first show was in april 1999 and had his first group placement for judge Henric Fryckstrand, Sweden. After that followed many shows during 1999 with groupwins and BIS placements. That year he finished as second best in group 8 dog in Sweden. He was also invited to Champions of Champion 2000 and ended up as best dog in group 8. After that followed the worldshow in Milan, Italy, 2000 were he was BOB and pulled out in the group. Many shows has followed after that with BIS breedspeciality in Holland 2000, judge Mrs Pepi Barrington, Fynder, England, BIS breedspeciality in Finland 2001, judge Mr Nick Waters, Zanfi, England. Woody has only been beaten once in the breed and that was at Crufts 2002 were he got the CC and was beaten in the challange for BOB by a beutiful bitch, Malanis Brown Starlet at Foulby. Judge Frank Kane, England. Woody ended his showcareer at the worldshow in Dortmund, Germany, 2003 at the age of 10,5 years old. There were 23 dogs entered and the judge was Mrs Agnes Ganami-Kertes from Israel. He was BOB, pulled out in the veterangroup out of 83 compeating dogs, compeated also in the progenygroup with 9 of his puppies and ended up as BIS-2! A wonderful end of a fantastic showcareer. Woody have had 4 litters in USA, 2 in Finland, 1 in Sweden, 1 in Denmark, 1 in Holland, 1 in Ireland and 1 in Australia. Woody has exellent hips. (A/A), good elbows and is eyetested.
